I am SO excited that I will be seeing CARRIE tonight!!! This will be the first time I am seeing her and I am beyoooooooond excited!!

I even got floor seats, so I am hoping that I will be super close able to touch Ms. Underwood!!

I mean she's perfection. Majahhh girl crush over here!

I'm also super excited to see this lil cutie, Mr. Hunter Hayes performing. Obviiis when he sings Wanted he will wisk me to the stage and serendae me in front of everyone! ;)

Happy Election Day!

I think that I have been waiting my entire life four years for this day to finally come! If you follow me on Twitter, you have already been subjected to reading my crazy tweets during the 3 Presidental Debates and the 1 VP jokeshow Debate.

Being a Political Science major in college, I am quite passionate about politics and have very strong opinions on many issues.

But, I will keep all of that to myself because the MOST important thing to do today, regardless of your political beliefs and opinions is to get out there and VOTE!!!

This election is going to be soooooooo close and your vote matters!

So do your civic duty and get out there and VOTE!!

May the best man who hasn't already been President for four years win! (sorry, I had to)

Thankful

Can't even begin to explain the extent of the damage that Hurricane Sandy had on Jersey. It's absolutely heartbreaking and devastating. I feel extremely blessed that all of my family is safe. I am on day 4 without power and our biggest struggle right now is trying to find places to get gas because most are closed, sold out, or have 4 hour lines! Hoping that power is restored soon because it's getting super cold at night! Unfortunately so many people I know have had total and utter destruction brought upon their homes and lives. Please keep NJ, NY, and all the other areas that have been affected by the hurricane in your prayers! I am already looking forward to all the ways that I can help restore our state. And I am sure the kiddies are looking forward to actually celebrating Halloween which was postponed till Monday due to the executive order of Christie! Hope all is well with you all! xo Katy

Weekend Fun!

Hope you had a great weekend! I had a lot of fun, but am currently awaiting the arrival of Hurricane Sandy! Seems as though Jersey is going to get hit VERY hard by her! Hope everyone stays safe who will be hit!! This weekend D & I went to a Halloween party and we had a blast!

Social Media Conference

Just wanted to pop by and say Happy Friday to you all! I can't believe it's basically already October! I have been super de dooperly busy lately with work and such! Yesterday I went to an awesome Social Media Conference in NYC for work! Business Insider hosted the event and I must say, it was amazing! I learned SO much good stuff about social media and such I don't think I stopped writing down notes once! *hence why my hand felt like it was dead*

I left the house at 6:30, but in true Jersey/NYC fashion it took us 2 1/2 hours to go about 20 miles from my house to the destination of the event. NOT fun!

The conference was awesome! Amazing speakers from Gilt Groupe, Pepsi, EA Games, (RED), Ford, Quaker Oats & SO many more! It was a long day for sure. But, in the end it was awesome and I learned a ton! Not to mention got some vino and had fabulous views of the East River! Can't complain!

I have always known about ELF and have gotten their products a while ago but I happened to be at Target in the beauty section and picked up some of their stuff! I came across their newest line (at least I think so) with cool snakeskin prints and I picked up these 2 nail polish colors which are perfect for the fall! I was super surprised how nice they look and how well they stayed on! For only $2 a bottle I for sure need to hit them up again!

This is the mother of all top coats! You need to run out and buy this! No jokeee! Within seconds of applying this, your nails are dry and super shiny! I got it for about $10 at Target and it’s SO worth it!

I have always been a huge SG fan and recently I discovered the Peach sangria. This shiz is amaze!! I am obsessed! It is beyond delish! You deff need to check it out, you’ll thank me!



Fall TV Shows

I am SO thankful and excited for all my shows to return to tv. I barely have time to watch tv these days but when I do I feel like there is never anything on! I can’t wait for Gossip Girl to come back (let’s not talk about my depression from it being the last season, ever.). I can’t wait for Revenge to return because it’s like the best show ever! If you haven’t watched – you NEED to! Homeland will be returning as well on Showtime. I am yet again obsessed with this show and can’t wait for its return!

Living la vida loca..

For realz! I feel like I have ZERO time these days to do anything, let alone blog! I am going to make a solid effort to update on the reg! *pinky promise*

Let’s talk weekend recap!

This weekend was a ton of fun and relaxing (say whaaaa? I usually don’t ever “relax”)
I spent the weekend down the shore at my boyfriend’s house and then my beach casa with my bf and bestie boo!

Friday night we tried to watch Project X but I (as per the ushhh) passed out probably 10 minutes into it!
Saturday we headed up to my beach casa and spent the day at the beach at the beach club with my cousins and famila!





At night we got all dolled up and ready to go out (complete with ridiculous pictures, obviously) and ended up staying in because we were so exhausted #fail.



Sunday was another beautiful day and my bestie and I spent it at our beach club soaking up the rays!





I am really going to miss summer!
