Weekend Recap!

This weekend was lovely! After work on Friday I loaded up on Starbucks and hit the road and headed down the shore (Jersey lingo for going down to the Jersey Shore/Beach).





Went to the boyf's house and we got ready and hit up Seaside with some of our friends!





We went to Beach Bar (that's actually the name, and it happens to be a bar on the beach - coincidence? ;P )
I had me my usual, vodka + club with a lemon!




Saturday we headed up to my beach house and my bestie boo came down! We spent the day out on the boat on the river.



There is nothing like being out on the water.




A lil Mike's Hard Lemonade to keep us from being parched! ;)



Got my tan on like woah.



Then we went to a firemen's appreciation baseball game which was oodles of fun! (LOVES men in baseball pants, yuuuuuum)



Spent the day relaxing by the pool at the boyf's house



This misting concoction was like beyond amaze. Kept us nice and cool while laying out tanning because it was beyond HOT out!






Walked on a lil sunshine! ;)



Went to a lovely dinner at a restaurant right on the river!

I have a 5 day weekend this week so tomorrow night my tushy will be back down the shore soaking up the sun and celebrating my favsie holiday - 4th of July!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I am loving that Memorial Day Weekend is quickly approaching which means it's the official kick off that summer is here!



I am loving the new Skinny Girl Pina Colada. I was expecting it to have that fake sugary taste but it's actually beyond amaze. Clearly it will be a summer staple along with my Skinny Girl Margarita




I am always loving Pinterest and the many amazing ideas and creations I find on there. Just like this one, how cute?!




I am loving all things mint colored *all via Pinterest*

Where has summer gone?!

I can't believe that in less then 2 weeks I will be making my way to DC.

It seems that this was something I never thought would finally come!

My summer has been amazing, and I apologize for the complete lack of blogging.

Here are some updates on what I have been up too...

I have spent lots of time lounging on the beach, and dock soaking up the sun (don't worry, I use sunblock)




I have spent lots of time out on the boats with friends, and family tubbing and wake boarding (and maybe getting a few jellyfish stings)





I have been devoured numerous times by mosquitos (it's quite ridiculous how many bites I have)

I turned the big 22. (far less hype for this birthday as last years big 21)


Celebrated our families 3rd annual family reunion and my sweet grandmas 80th birthday! (we have SO many female Leos in my family, rawr!)







I have gone from blonde to brunette (and am shockingly LOVING it)





I have shopped, shopped, and shopped some more (all for DC of course)



I have my tres professional clothes all ready to go (with a pinch of Lilly of course)




Just got my Lilly planner so I will not forget anything while being a busy DC bee!





Slowly but surely I am packing up all things fancy schmancy to hopefully woah DC politicos!

4th of July fun!

I hope that you all had an amazing long weekend! It was so wonderful spending time with all the friends and family!! Not to mention celebrating this beautiful nation!

Unfortunately I got a nasty stomach bug that caused my weekend to start Saturday rather then Thursday/Friday like I was hoping! But thankfully Saturday I felt much better and was shore bound by 1pm with my best, L!

We sat in lots of this.. (this is normal for summer cruises down to the shore)




Enjoyed a few fancy drinks ;)



Was very silly with all the little cousins, especially this one! (my mini-me, turned 13 today! *cries*)

And of course, enjoyed a few fireworks shows, one while out on the boat!
