Valentines Day.

I hope that you all had a wonderful Valentines Day! My Valentine this year was my roomie/bff/pledge sister M. She got me flowers and a lovely card, and I got her some chocolate. We went out to dinner, had some margaritas and planned out our future lives, and what our future hubbys will be like. It was wonderful, and I truly enjoyed the day!

But of course, I couldn't help come to the end of the day and feel some sort of something that was missing. Today though I suppose is one day it's okay to be a sap and wish you had someone. But then I remembered that being single isn't all that bad! And I figured I'd share some wise words from the numero uno single gal, Ms. Carrie Bradshaw.

"The fact is sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes, that's why we need really special ones every now and then to make the walk a little more fun"

"If you are single there is always one thing you should take out with you on a Saturday night... your friends.”

“Some people are settling down, some people are settling and some people refuse to settle for anything less than butterflies.”

"So just love, make mistakes, and have wonderful times, but never second guess who you are, where you have been, and most importantly, where it is you are going."

And this is the ULTIMATE quote I love, and every girl should remember you're faboosh!

"I feel sorry for Big, I really do. Because if you think about it, I was the best thing that ever happened to him. Actually, no. I pity him because I get to walk away and be me, and he has to walk away and stay him, you know? And who wants to be him when you could be me? I mean, I'm smart, I'm funny... I was this, this thing, you know I was it. I was this magic moment. I was the abracadabra. I was totally the "poof" in the relationship. I mean, I've got more "poof" in one finger than he could ever have. I mean, geez, sometimes I "poof" just hailing a cab. So I guess it's better to know now. So I can go "poof" someone else. Someone who deserves me, and not some screwed-up, insecure guy who can't deal with a woman who's got her act together. Now, I'm gonna end up deliriously happy and Big is gonna die old and alone, and I pity him. Really, I pity him."

I hope that you all had a great V-Day whether you're a single gal, or a taken one!!
