Eat. Pray. Love

I realize I may be very behind on this but I just watched Eat, Pray, Love last night and I really loved it! The whole entire book/movie has an amazing theme as it follows one woman's journey to find herself throughout different experiences involving eating, praying, and love! Here are some quotes that I loved, it was hard to just pick a few! I would definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it, or even reading the book which I now plan on doing!

"Faith is walking face-first and full-speed into the dark. If we truly knew all the answers in advance as to the meaning of life and the nature of God and the destiny of our souls, our belief would not be a leap of faith and it would not be a courageous act of humanity; it would just be... a prudent insurance policy."

"To lose balance sometimes for love is part of living a balanced life."

“There is so much about my fate that I cannot control, but other things do fall under the jurisdiction. I can decide how I spend my time, whom I interact with, whom I share my body and life and money and energy with. I can select what I can read and eat and study. I can choose how I’m going to regard unfortunate circumstances in my life-whether I will see them as curses or opportunities. I can choose my words and the tone of voice in which I speak to others. And most of all, I can choose my thoughts.”

"We must take care of our families where-ever we find them."

"There’s a crack (or cracks) in everyone…that’s how the light of God gets in."

“God is an experience of supreme love.”

"You were given life; it is your duty (and also your entitlement as a human being) to find something beautiful within life, no matter how slight."

“This is a good sign, having a broken heart. It means we have tried for something."

"Stop wearing your wishbone where your backbone ought to be."

I've yet to read the book, but I can watch the movie over and over again. The elephant reminds me of V.
